Build a promising startup project in 2 weeks

We created a specific strategy to build the foundations of a successful start up, based on our experience of counselling over 300 startups in their strategies of feasibility and growth.

During your journey at the Institute, you will learn this strategy and implement it on a real world problematic. We have identified several industry needs you can work on : you will then be able to find some teammates and build a successful venture from this project (you can also apply it on your personal project).

Strategy and market analysis

  • Identify the target market and its characteristics.

  • Define the target customer base and users.

  • Establish a clear and precise strategy for acquiring customers and users.

  • Identify suitable partners and initiate contact.

A business founder must have an excellent command of their subject. Moreover, they should know how to adapt and articulate their speech according to their audience:

  1. Private investors (business angels, venture capitalists, etc.)
  2. Public stakeholders (funders, local authorities, etc.)
  3. Potential clients and prospects
  4. Partners
  5. Employees and service providers

You will also learn to create convincing documentation (pitch deck)

Product design and tech roadmap

  • Structuring the product roadmap.

  • Applying it to build an initial version of the solution (Minimum Viable Product - MVP) and validating its feasibility.

  • Identifying potential entities that could contribute to these developments (service providers or partners) and engaging in discussions with them.

  • Monitoring technical developments and ensuring their successful implementation.

FINANCE

  • Creating a financial forecast (Profit and Loss - P&L) tailored to your project to simulate its growth. We will assess potential revenue and expenses.

  • Implementing a detailed cash flow monitoring system for various scenarios.

  • Planning workforce requirements to structure teams.

  • Defining and tracking relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

The participants will be split into founding teams with complementary skills, each forming a startup (with a CEO, A CTO, and a CFO). Each team member will naturally take part in all the decision making.

Each team will then engage in a dynamic and interactive serious game, applying the acquired concepts to a case study that simulates real-world business challenges.

This hands-on approach allows participants to practically implement the strategies learned, fostering teamwork, decision-making, and adaptability.

The sessions will be divided into 2 parts :
